Opening of the new wing of the Swiss National Museum
A 26-hour opening event with a packed schedule
THE CULTURAL PROGRAMME FOR EVERYONE
The new wing of the Swiss National Museum opened in 2017. After it had been officially opened by Federal Councillor Alain Berset, a 26-hour opening celebration was kicked off by the largest daytime fireworks display in Switzerland. The wing was open all day and night for tours, podium discussions, concerts and more. The lively programme required a great deal of manpower and organisational precision, in order to run smoothly for the 10,000 visitors day and night.
