ARTFULLY ILLUMINATING

Artists from all over the world present the manifold and fascinating facets of light at the Lilu Light Festival Lucerne. The creative light installations invite you on a winter walk: Every day, squares, sights and alleys in the old town and around the Lucerne lake basin are artfully illuminated from 6 pm to 10 pm. An estimated 70’000 guests from Switzerland and abroad visited the Light Festival in January 2020.

Marcel Perren, President of the Lucerne Light Festival Association, sums up: “We are very satisfied with this year’s Lilu Light Festival Lucerne. The many positive feedbacks from locals and guests as well as the good ticket sales indicate that the festival is well received and perceived as a cultural enrichment in January”.

The next Lilu Light Festival Lucerne will take place from 7 to 17 January 2021.
