Sparhafen
Development of a portrait series that authentically showcases the values and people of the Sparhafen cooperative
Carefully designed series of images featuring real employees, personal props, and empathetic support—for portraits that showcase both the brand and the people behind it
To bring Sparhafen’s values to life visually, a series of portraits was created for the new image brochure. Nine employees stood in front of the camera – not professional models, but people who shape Sparhafen on a daily basis. This closeness makes the series particularly authentic.
Nine employees stood in front of our camera. Not professional models, but people who shape Sparhafen every day – and that’s exactly what makes the series so authentic.
Storytelling in pictures
Each portrait tells its own story. To achieve this, the team not only examined the values of Sparhafen, but also the personalities behind them. Based on a carefully developed image concept, a suitable subject was defined for each person. To make these stories even more authentic, some of the employees brought their own props, from racing bikes to yoga mats.
Photography with people, photography for brands
Amateur models in front of the camera need trust, empathy, and good support. The photography team made sure that the employees felt comfortable and recognized themselves in the pictures. After all, a portrait is only powerful if it shows not only the brand, but also the person behind it.
The tight schedule with nine busy employees, combined with November weather and the requirement to take seasonally neutral photos, was challenging. With mobile equipment, alternative dates, and a well-coordinated process, we were able to produce images in a short period of time that can be used for both the brochure and the accompanying online interviews.
