As a host city of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, the City of Zurich aimed to create a meeting place that brings together emotion, diversity, and community.
With creative scenography, themed fan rooms, hospitality areas, a stage programme, and public viewing, a space was created that connected sport, culture, and urban life.
From 2 to 27 July 2025, Switzerland hosted the UEFA Women’s EURO with eight host cities across the country. Zurich was one of them, transforming the Europaallee into the official ZüriFanzone. Commissioned by the City of Zurich as general contractor, Aroma was responsible for the concept, staging, and implementation of this unique meeting place full of emotion.
Public Viewing, Hospitality and Village – in the heart of Zurich
On Europaallee, a vibrant stage for the football summer came to life: public viewing for 1,800 visitors, street food, music and culture; premium hospitality areas including the ZüriLounge and Champion’s Deck; and the Village featuring 12 individually designed fan rooms – from an alpine chalet to an elegant mirror room.
A place for emotion and connection
In the Village, groups found an intimate setting to enjoy all matches, while children got creative in a supervised fan room. The Walk of Emotions connected all areas and brought the tournament’s motto – “The Summit of Emotions” – to life in the heart of Zurich, with street food, a public piano, and interactive stations that created countless unforgettable moments.
A project full of passion
With great dedication, Aroma designed the ZüriFanzone as an open and diverse meeting place for fans, families, and guests from all over the world – a place where Zurich not only celebrated the football summer of 2025, but truly lived it together.
