Surprising perspectives

Over an area of 480 square metres, visitors are confronted with surprising sensory illusions and new perspectives. The first WOW effect is experienced as soon as you enter the foyer: the white, minimalist foyer is equipped with 200 metres of programmable LED strips.

The tour begins in the “Maze”, a light-mirror labyrinth that appears much larger thanks to its effects and thus introduces visitors to the world of illusions. A further 12 individually designed, interactive illusion rooms surprise visitors anew and change perspectives and spatial perceptions. The “Wonder Lab” is located in the basement, an educational area of the exhibition in which the exhibits invite visitors to experiment. The bright, modular space is suitable for workshops as part of museum tours and will be an attractive hotspot for excursions. Our spatial designers, scenographers and architects were involved in the development of the individual and surprising spatial staging.
