ZüriFanzone at the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025: Retreat, family zone, and fan celebration – all in one place

The time is almost here: Zurich is one of eight host cities of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, and Europaallee will become the meeting point for fans, locals, and visitors. The creative agency Aroma AG has been awarded the contract, through a public tender, to design and deliver the official ZüriFanzone. A special highlight: the Village with 12 individually designed fan rooms—an innovative experience format that brings together football culture, urban space, and community.

ZüriFanzone: Diversity on All Levels

The Fanzone is divided into three central areas:

  • Public Viewing: Space for up to 1,800 people, free entry, featuring a giant screen, bar, street food, and a cultural, musical, and sports side program.

  • Hospitality Offers: With the ZüriLounge (1st floor) and the Champion’s Deck (2nd floor), two premium spectator experiences are available within the Public Viewing zone.

  • Village: Perhaps the most surprising part of the Fanzone: an urban village in the heart of the city that creates retreat spaces without losing the connection to the larger fan crowd.

Fan Rooms: Experiencing football in smaller circles right in the middle of it all

On Gustav-Gull-Platz, 12 individually designed fan rooms will be created for groups of up to 10 or 20 people. Each room is staged with its own theme—from the alpine “Chalet Schnebelhorn” to the lively “Karaoke Room” and the elegant “Mirror Room” with a fan makeover station. Equipped with sofas and screens, these spaces transform public viewing into a home-cinema experience—while still staying connected to the larger fan community.

Space for Families with Childcare

Another highlight is the childcare service in the Village. While parents cheer with friends in the fan rooms, children can craft fan articles, get their faces painted, or unleash their creativity right next door.

A Place of Emotions with Local Involvement

The connecting element between the Public Viewing and the Village is the Walk of Emotions—inspired by the official tournament motto “The Summit of Emotions.”

Highlights of the Walk include:

  • Point of Emotions with foosball table, seating areas, and a public piano

  • A variety of street food offerings

“The ZüriFanzone will be a meeting place for football fans, food lovers, and culture enthusiasts—open, vibrant, and right in the heart of the city. Our project team is working with great passion to make this football summer in Zurich something truly special. We are all very excited,” says Jen Balmer, Project Manager at the creative agency Aroma AG.

Secure your spot now and be part of the emotions

Anyone who wants to experience the special atmosphere at Europaallee in a more personal setting will find the perfect place in the Village, on the exclusive Champion’s Deck, or in the ZüriLounge. Whether with friends in your own fan room or as a guest in the stylish hospitality area.
