Since 1850, the Sparhafen Cooperative—combining banking and real estate services under one roof—has been a safe harbor for the people of Zurich. In 2025, it celebrates its long-standing success and the consistency of its values. To make these values tangible in a visual way, we were entrusted with a special task: creating a portrait series for the new image brochure.
Nine employees stepped in front of our camera. Not professional models, but people who shape Sparhafen every day—and it is precisely this that makes the series so authentic.
Storytelling through images
Each portrait tells its own story. To achieve this, we looked not only at Sparhafen’s values but also at the personalities behind them. Based on a carefully developed visual concept, we defined a fitting subject for each person. To make these stories even more authentic, some employees brought personal items as props—from racing bikes to yoga mats.
Photography with people, photography for brands
Non-professional models in front of the camera need trust, empathy, and good guidance. Our team ensured that the employees felt comfortable and could see themselves in the images. Because a portrait is only truly powerful when it makes not only the brand visible but also the person behind it.
The tight scheduling with nine busy employees, combined with November weather and the need to shoot in a season-neutral style, proved to be a challenge. With mobile equipment, backup dates, and a well-coordinated workflow, we were able to produce images in a short time that can be used both for the brochure and the accompanying online interviews.
Our photo and video team not only masters the visual documentation of live and spatial experiences but also delivers high-quality people photography. What matters most is ensuring that the brand message remains consistent—whether it is experienced in physical spaces, made visible in photos, or told through videos.
