Located on the ground floor of the Workhub Orbiz, the existing Café Cream was transformed into an independent, inviting space – visible, vibrant, and atmospherically convincing. Aroma was responsible for the holistic architectural redesign: from the initial concept to execution and site management. Both the interior and exterior were reimagined through a coherent design language encompassing furniture, color, materials, lighting, and spatial concept – strengthening both the café’s identity and its overall sense of place.
The goal was to enhance the café’s visibility, establish its own identity distinct from the adjacent office and co-working area, and create a communicative meeting point. The redesign was carried out during ongoing operations with precise planning and a keen sense of materiality and functionality. New, custom-made wooden furniture from Aroma’s own carpentry workshop brings warmth and structure to the interior, while the redesigned exterior opens the café towards the street – inviting and attracting new visitors.
Covering around 700 square meters – 400 m² indoors and 300 m² outdoors – a place was created that is more than just a coffee corner within the Workhub: a space with soul, style, and a clear design statement. Aroma realized this project through an interdisciplinary collaboration – combining the expertise of Aroma Architecture and Aroma Productions.
