The listed station concourse glitters and sparkles. New, homogeneous Christmas lighting connects the historic main hall and the west hall.
The design language, deliberately detached from the existing historical architecture, emphasises the temporary and decorative character of the Christmas lighting. Starting from a central, abstract Christmas tree of lights in the counter hall, the strip of light extending towards the west hall picks up on the lighting mood. The unity of the two areas is strengthened by the resumption of the curved strip of light and contributes to the quality of stay in the passageway.
