TRADITION MEETS MODERNITY

Following the success of the first redesigned Tenz Momo branch at Bahnhof Enge, Aroma has now taken on the design and construction of the second branch. The Aroma Architecture team has created a modern, inviting atmosphere that blends Tibetan traditions with a fresh, urban aesthetic.

With 56 square meters of dining space, the location offers 23 seating places. The interior design impresses with the use of concrete, larch wood, and brass, which together create a warm and welcoming ambiance. The material selection is deliberate, reflecting the robustness and simplicity of traditional Tibetan architecture, while the elegant integration of brass and wood highlights the luxurious side of urban living. Particularly striking are the nearly 9-meter-high ceiling, the elegant brass counter, and the floating Supra element made of solid larch wood, all of which convey a sense of generosity and openness. Guests also enjoy an open view into the 23-square-meter kitchen, where they can experience the preparation of Tibetan specialties up close.

“The modern interpretation of Tibetan tradition should be palpable in all Tenz Momo locations. Thanks to Aroma, this has been achieved in the new Oerlikon branch exactly as the Tenz team envisioned.” – Tenzin Tibatsang, Founder and Owner of Tenz Momo.

#TenzMomo

Tenz Momo is a young Swiss food company with Tibetan roots. The focus is on a passion for momo – Tibetan dumplings, which are considered a festive meal and are made with love and shared. Tenz aims to make this culture accessible in Switzerland – authentically and yet modern. The momo and their presentation embody a unique mix of Tibet and Switzerland and are very popular with guests.
