As part of the “Uri Cantonal Hospital – working environments” project, Aroma Architecture developed the entire design concept and played a central role in the planning and implementation of the innovative working environments. Architectural and design aspects were integrated on the basis of detailed planning in order to optimally network the two office landscapes on the 2nd and 3rd floors.

The concept is divided into two functional areas, which are connected by a spiral staircase. On the 2nd floor, the “ground floor” serves as the base, housing the workplaces of the doctors and medical advisory services. On the 3rd floor, where the hospital management, finance, HR, nursing management and other staff departments are located, the overall concept is continued with a consistent color and illustration scheme based on a colorful plant world, so that both levels are linked functionally and creatively.

Aroma set decisive impulses in the narrative interior design, central theme, implementation and design – and thus realized a functionally optimized and visually coherent working environment. The illustrations are by Eva Kläui, the architectural realization was carried out in collaboration with Darlington Meier Architekten, Zurich.
