Stiftung Klangwelt Toggenburg
Create an experience where visitors can not only hear sound but truly feel it
A multifunctional resonance space with interactive stations and the first publicly accessible sound dome in Switzerland
At the new Peter Roth Resonance Centre of Klangwelt Toggenburg, Aroma had the opportunity to design the heart of the building: the multifunctional resonance space on the top floor. This special place invites visitors to immerse themselves in sound worlds at interactive stations and experience intense, multisensory moments. The exhibition tells the story of the creation of Klangwelt Toggenburg and the Klanghaus, while honouring the life’s work of Peter Roth.
At its centre lies an innovation: the first publicly accessible sound dome in Switzerland. With its immersive 360° acoustics, it creates a unique experience that is further enhanced by state-of-the-art stage technology – the sound dome can even be lifted up to the ceiling.
Aroma was responsible for the entire realisation – from concept, planning, design, graphics, and content curation to interior architecture. Many of the exhibition elements were produced in our in-house carpentry and signage workshops.
