INSPIRED BY THE CANTON OF URI

The Cantonal Bank of Uri is the bank of the people of Uri. It is comprehensively committed to regional and overall economic development, which is reflected in the new premises over four floors at the headquarters in Altdorf.

Brand values spatially translated

In addition to the 24-hour zone on the ground floor, the public zone on the first floor is the heart of the UKB brand world. Here, high-quality, natural materials predominate. In the reception area with spacious armchairs, the sky of Uri is visible via a daylight projection. Entertaining stories on the four core themes of UKB - living space, history, economy and people - shorten the waiting time. The filmic productions were created in close cooperation with the Waldmeier Studio in Uri. The plastic wall sculpture shows the canton in the midst of the Swiss Alps, with the vertical slats reflecting the valleys and mountains through their shape. The precise use of plants is accentuated by a playful wallpaper.

Workspace and common area

In close cooperation with the client, the workplaces, meeting and recreation zones for the employees were defined and implemented. Natural colours dominate and various meeting rooms and focus boxes offer space for meetings in the otherwise open work area.
